Kathleen M. Haley: Vice President, Finance & Administration
BACKGROUND
Ms. Haley received her early business training with United Parcel Service where she learned the business from the ground up. Beginning part-time on the night-shift loading trucks in a large distribution facility, she worked her way through college, after which she joined the company full-time in the Industrial Engineering department. During her 14-year tenure, she assumed greater responsibility, including systems and logistics improvement, financial oversight, efficiency studies and general management while working in locations across the country.
Continuing her education and pursuing her desire to build and run her own business, Kathleen earned a Certified Financial Planning certificate and co-founded Business Process Improvement Consulting Services. She served as an advisor to BPICS while continuing her duties with UPS. After years of juggling multiple business interests and demanding business travel, she eventually left big company corporate life to become a dedicated entrepreneur, directly managing BPICS for 15 years.
After merging with Lake Forest Educational Publishing Corporation, Kathleen joined MidMarket Capital Advisors where her duties include all aspects of Finance, Administration, Personnel and generally keeping order in our fast-paced environment. She completed her undergraduate work at Northeastern Illinois University, post graduate work at Loyola and currently lives in the Chicagoland western suburbs with her husband of 20+ years.
